Who we are

Since our beginning in 1964, we have been an active, growing, and vibrant congregation that combines modern interests and values with traditional practices. We offer a variety of service choices, a strong religious school, a warm and growing preschool, active membership, and numerous adult education opportunities. From our Men’s Club to our Sisterhood, over 30 committees and 20 Havurot, our groups serve to enhance a welcoming feeling within the B’nai Shalom family, 

Why Join?

By becoming a member of Congregation B’nai Shalom, you become part of a warm and welcoming community that provides religious traditions and services, educational activities for all ages, social programming, and life-cycle experiences for you and your family. No matter what your age, whether married or single, minimally involved or active, observant or not, we offer you many opportunities to deepen your Jewish roots and find your Jewish voice.

Congregation B’nai Shalom is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue. We are members of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

We do not turn anyone away for financial reasons. If you would like to have a confidential conversation regarding your finances and/or school tuition, please contact our Executive Director, Stuart Kirsch, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or 924-934-9446.  He will work directly with you to develop a plan that meets your needs at this time or connect you with our Ezra team as necessary.

How to Learn More About Us

We invite you to get to know our congregation by attending Shabbat or holiday services or one of our many social, religious or educational events. We would be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to our community. If you have any questions regarding affiliation or would like to discuss our programs, school or other member services, please call our office at your convenience. Tours and a chance to meet clergy, staff and members can be arranged.
