Job Posting: Front Office Associate/Admin Cordinator
The Front Office Associate/Admin Coordinator will serve as the friendly and welcoming face of the organization; support senior staff and clergy; address the needs of members, vendors, and the community; manage internal and public calendars; and perform office administrative tasks.
Reception
- Welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate person or office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and email messages
- Provide basic information about services, programs, and opportunities in-person, by phone, and by e-mail
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Perform routine clerical tasks including photocopying, filing, and more
Clergy support
- Maintain public-facing calendars and internal room reservation and facility needs calendars
- Schedule appointments for clergy and maintain their internal calendars
Communications
- Manage and coordinate communications and marketing channels and vehicles
Administrative Support
- Assist program and bookkeeping staff on program reservations and payments
- Support the implementation of synagogue programming
- Assist in the direction and oversight of facilities staff and custodial tasks
- Follow safety and security protocols and control access to the facility from the reception desk
- Assist in the procurement of products and supplies
- Complete minor bookkeeping tasks including recording incoming payments
- Help with gift shop purchases
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ relevant experience
- Experience with office-suite software
