First Time Login / Password Reset
- If this is your first time logging in, or if you have forgotten your username or password, you will need to request a new password.
- If you have forgotten only your username, you will still need to follow the password-reset process.
- Your username will come in the password-reset email.
- You can reset your password to whatever it was before, although we recommend changing passwords frequently for added security.
- Click on Member Login which appears on the upper right hand corner of the website.
A pop up window will appear:
- Click the Forgot your password? link in the bottom of the popup.
A new window will appear:
- Enter the email address you have on file with B'nai Shalom, then click Submit. If you’ve forgotten which email address you have on file, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 925-934-9446. You will see a Thank You message.
- Within 1 – 10 minutes you should receive an email at the address you submitted (unless this is not the email address you have provided B'nai Shalom), containing your username, and a link to reset your password. Click on the link in that email. (*Note: If you do not receive an email, please check your email's spam folder, as system emails sometimes arrive there).
- You will be sent to a password reset page. Enter a new password. It must comply with the following guidelines: at least 8 characters long, containing at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one number. Include numbers, capital letters and symbols. Do not use dictionary words, names of pets, spouses, or childhood friends. Create passwords that are easy to remember but hard for others to guess.
- Once you have changed your password, you will see the following screen and should be automatically redirected back to the home page where you can now login.
