Men’s Club supports the synagogue in many ways.
Some of the revenue is spent on:

  • Bar/Bat Mitzvah gifts for our students,
  • Supporting the synagogue at community barbecues,
  • Providing food for the Yom Kippur Break the Fast,
  • Supporting various capital purchases and supplementing professional development for staff,
  • Sponsoring a table annually at the Synagogue Gala,
  • Co-sponsoring selected programming including Yiddish Dancing and Singing, educational programming and scholarship for professional development,
  • Helping to support bringing in guest clergy in residence

Men’s Club is the volunteer cooking arm of Congregation B’nai Shalom.
If you are into slicing, dicing, peeling, mixing, stirring, grilling, flipping, serving, and/or cleaning, then the club would appreciate your assistance. The club’s world famous latkes are cooked to perfection in the B’nai Shalom kitchen during the family Hanukkah Dinner & Latke Party, and cooking occurs at special events such as some community events and new member open houses, as well as our Dinner & Discussion programs.
