Contra Costa Midrasha

B’nai Shalom is the host campus for, and one of the sponsoring congregations of, Contra Costa Midrasha. CC Midrasha is the community Hebrew high school for students in 8th through 12th grade. It is supported by several congregations in the Diablo Valley-TriValley area, each of which offers the attendance opportunity to its member families.

On Wednesday evenings, within a school environment, Midrasha promotes Jewish pluralism and creativity alongside respect for Jewish religious tradition and education. Midrasha has historically been an important nexus for Jewish teens throughout the area, enabling the social and interpersonal relationships that complement their day-school academic experience.
