Alan Zweibel started his comedy career selling jokes for seven dollars apiece to standup comics. Then, he became one of the first writers at Saturday Night Live, where he penned material for John Belushi, Gilda Radner and others. From SNL, he went on to It’s Garry Shandling’s Show and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Zweibel won 5 Emmy Awards and a Tony Award for his collaboration with Billy Crystal on his Broadway show “700 Sundays”.
