Facilitated by Riva Gambert

2:00PM - 3:00PM

The iconic scene in which Peter O’Toole aka the Colonel T. E. Lawrence rides closer and closer towards the viewer is seared into our memory. In the film Lawrence of Arabia, director David Lean created a memorable drama that introduced the WWI British agent to a global audience. We’re still waiting for a dramatization of the work of the Jewish Palestinian spy ring, Nili, which was also active in the Middle East at the same time as Lawrence.

In this presentation, Under One Tent program director, Riva Gambert, will examine how both the British officer and the members of the spy ring helped Britain’s war effort against the Ottoman Empire.

Admission: $5.00 per household.
