Our weekday minyan moves from Thursday to Friday this week so we may observe the fascinating rituals of Hoshanah Rabbah. The festival, the last day of Sukkot, is the final day of the intense period of reflection and self-evaluation that began on Rosh Hashanah. The service itself combines elements of weekday, festival, and High Holy Day services.
