“Screams Before Silence” is a powerful new documentary focusing on the tragic events of October 7 and the sexual violence inflicted by Hamas. Featuring poignant testimonies from former hostages, survivors, and brave first responders, this film sheds light on untold stories. Join us for a screening followed by a discussion led by Rabbi Jill Perlman, highlighting the vital role of bearing witness, amplifying the silenced voices of October 7, and advocating for justice.
Directed by Anat Stalinsky under the leadership of Sheryl Sandberg, filming took place in February 2024. Amit Soussana, one of the film’s participants, shares her harrowing experience after being abducted to Gaza and subsequently freed in a hostage release deal in November 2023.
