Jonathan Branfman is a Scholar, educator, and speaker.
He specializes in Jewish identity, race, and gender in American society, including in popular culture. He especially clarifies how antisemitism works in daily life, how it interacts with racism, and how we can jointly address both at once. Likewise, he clarifies why progressive conversations about inequity tend to overlook antisemitism, and how we can fill those gaps to help everyone (both Jewish and non-Jewish) better understand the world around us. He is the author of the recently published Millennial Jewish Stars: Navigating Racial Antisemitism, Masculinity, and White Supremacy.
Kibbitz Café is a monthly lunch program for seniors in the community.
