CBS Men’s Club and Under One Tent Present: “Watergate’s Forgotten Hero” Dinner & Discussion
Facilitated by Adam Henig
Thursday, May 7, 2026
6:00PM - 7:00PM
Location: Social Hall
Join us for a special evening of friendship, food, and our end-of-the-year author event with Adam Henig, author of Watergate’s Forgotten Hero.
On the week commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Watergate break-in, Adam Henig will explore the impact of the notorious event on the life of Frank Willis, the night watchman who found himself in the middle of the crime that shook America’s political foundation. The only African American identified with the Watergate affair, Frank enjoyed a brief moment in the limelight but was unable to cope with his newfound fame, living the remainder of his life in obscurity and poverty. Through exhaustive research and numerous interviews, Adam Henig finally told the story of America’s most famous night watchman and will share it with us on June 16.
Admission is free.
Before the author event, at 6 PM, there will be a complimentary dinner with a salad bar and leek soup provided by CBS Men’s Club. Reservations are requested, and donations are appreciated.
Sponsors: CCJCC, Cong. B’nai Shalom and the Cong. B’nai Shalom Men’s Club in partnership with the Jewish Book Council.
