Next Shabbat, please join us for some special learning and worship as we welcome Jewish Theological Seminary Student Ambassador Joshua Bender to our community. Josh will offer the d’var Torah on Shabbat morning and lead an instructive Lunch and Learn at Kiddush. We will celebrate Havdallah with him on Saturday evening as well.
Josh, a fifth-year rabbinical student at JTS, is also pursuing a Masters in Jewish Law and is a fellow with the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in his free time Josh likes to go to stand-up comedy shows and cook Middle Eastern food. Following his graduation, Josh will take recently accepted a pulpit role in White Plains, New York.
