Kol Nidre

Kol Nidre (“all vows”) is chanted prior to sunset on the eve of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement on Friday, October 11 at 6:15pm sharp. As our community gathers in the synagogue, the Torah scrolls are removed from the Ark. Hazzan Sandy Bernstein will chant the Aramaic prayer of Kol Nidre, which in essence annuls all vows, obligations, and oaths made by every member in the community.
