Bylaws Update
The updates to the bylaws were submitted to and recommended by the Board of Directors at its meeting on November 7, 2024. The updates reflect mostly procedural and process changes regarding holding congregational meetings; pulpit selection; fee adjustments; parliamentary practice; and bylaw amendments.
Notes on nominations
The Bylaws approved by the membership on July 18, 2024, provide for one-year extensions of the term of current board members to allow from staggering of terms of the board in the future.
The bylaws specify that the nominee for Immediate Past President be the then current President; suggest that the nominee for President be the then current Senior Vice President; and suggest that the nominee for Senior Vice President be the then current Vice President.
The Treasurer and Secretary may be renominated with the term limit restrictions.
